Privacy Policy

Last updated 13 September 2026.

This site is run directly by the seller's family to market the sale of the Great Stair & Library at Burley on the Hill. It collects very little personal data, and this page explains exactly what and why.

What we collect

The only personal data this site collects is what you choose to submit through the Arrange a Viewing form: your name, email address, and, if you provide them, a phone number and message. There are no other forms, no user accounts, and no newsletter sign-up anywhere on the site.

How we use it

Submitting the form sends your details straight to the seller, who uses them only to arrange a viewing or answer your question. We don't sell, rent, or share this information with any third party, and we don't use it for marketing beyond replying to what you asked.

Where it's stored

Form submissions are stored in Google Firestore, the database behind this site's hosting on Firebase, and are only accessible to the seller and the people helping run this sale. Google's standard hosting and security infrastructure applies to that storage; see Firebase's own privacy and security information for how Google handles data on its platform.

Cookies and analytics

This site doesn't use cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers of any kind. Nothing on any page tracks you across visits or shares your browsing activity with an ad network. Firebase Hosting, which serves these pages, keeps standard server access logs (like any web host) purely for security and reliability, not for tracking individual visitors.

Legal pack and downloads

The documents published on the Legal Pack page are public auction documents provided by the seller's solicitor for prospective bidders' due diligence. They've been checked before publishing and don't contain financial account details or other sensitive personal data beyond what's already a matter of public record (such as the HM Land Registry title register, which anyone can purchase independently).

Your rights

If you've submitted the form and want your details corrected or deleted, or want to know exactly what's held about you, contact the seller directly through the same Arrange a Viewing form, or by email at office@mooresestateagents.com (the selling agent, Moores Estate Agents), and the request will be passed on and actioned promptly.

Changes to this policy

If what this site collects or how it's used ever changes, this page will be updated to reflect that, with a new "last updated" date above.
